Take the A60 towards Darmstadt and pass the Mainz interchange. Leave the highway at the Mainz-Finthen exit and follow the signs to Saarstraße/Innenstadt. Drive straight on through the Europaplatz traffic circle until you reach the university exit.

(From Würzburg/Darmstadt)
Take the A60 either via the Rüsselsheim interchange or from the A63 via the Mainz interchange in the direction of Bingen. Leave the highway at the Mainz-Finthen exit and follow the signs to Saarstraße/Innenstadt. Drive straight through the Europaplatz traffic circle until you reach the university exit.

(From Kassel)
Take the A66 and follow the current detour signs towards Mainz from the Wiesbadener Kreuz junction. Continue as described for the journey from the east.

There are several bus and tram lines that run from Mainz Central Station to the Mainz University Campus, where PRISMA++ is located.

Take the tram lines 51 or 53 (direction Mainz-Lerchenberg) to the stop Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg/Universität (5 min.). Alternatively, you can take the bus lines 54 / 55 / 56 / 58 to Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg/Universität (5 min.).
