With an innovative concept, part of the energy required to accelerate the electron beam is recovered. Bacca, Dark matter, quantum computing, COVID vaccine:<br\/>From precision to innovation<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"translatedWithWPMLTM\":\"1\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-big-font-size\">The parliamentary evening was a joint event of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) with its PRISMA<sup>+ <\/sup>cluster of excellence, German U15 and the Vertretung of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate to the federal government and the European Union.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"translatedWithWPMLTM\":\"1\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-big-font-size\">How can cutting-edge research become innovation? What are the necessary framework conditions for this? Based on the success model of the Mainz research location, we discussed these and other questions in detail on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the reopening of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz at a parliamentary evening in the state Vertretung of Rhineland-Palatinate in Berlin.  <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"translatedWithWPMLTM\":\"1\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-big-font-size\">Afterwards, the coordinators of the PRISMA+ cluster of excellence, Prof. Matthias Neubert and Prof. Hartmut Wittig, opened the accompanying exhibition PR\u00c4ZISION.
