Knowledge of physics from higher bachelor semesters is not required. After the lectures, students will have the opportunity to make contact with the lecturers over food and drink. The Bachelor&#8217;s lecture series was resumed in December 2021 after the Corona break. This makes it possible to effectively combat cancer cells and minimize the negative side effects of radiotherapy.<br\/>Due to the size of the storage rings &#8211; at least several hundred meters in circumference &#8211; it has not been possible to exploit this effect in clinical practice until now. Here, the &#8220;line focus X-ray tube&#8221; developed in Mainz has shown that the transfer into practice could succeed with a system that is almost two orders of magnitude smaller. Cosmology, once a field of speculation, has developed into a precision science. This makes it possible to effectively combat cancer cells and minimize the negative side effects of radiotherapy.<br\/>Due to the size of the storage rings - at least several hundred meters in circumference - it has not been possible to exploit this effect in clinical practice until now. Here, the \"line focus X-ray tube\" developed in Mainz has shown that the transfer into practice could succeed with a system that is almost two orders of magnitude smaller.
