Exzellente Studierende, die einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Physik haben, haben die Möglichkeit, zusätzlich zum Master of Science Physik der JGU einen sogenannten Excellence Track zu absolvieren.

Ziel des Excellence Tracks ist es, den Studierenden das nötige Rüstzeug zu geben, um einen erfolgreichen Forschungsweg einzuschlagen und starke Kandidaten für eine Promotion zu werden. Zu diesem Zweck ermöglicht er leistungsstarken, forschungsorientierten Studierenden, ihre wissenschaftlichen Kenntnisse sowie komplementäre und übertragbare Fähigkeiten in einem strukturierten Programm weiterzuentwickeln.
